Boot Camp Plus!

If you know me, you know that I think Apple's Boot Camp is pretty cool. Having a single machine that can do both Windows and Mac OS X is good but there is something additional that can make it the coolest thing since sliced bread!

Ta-duh!



A virtual machine solution - VMWare Fusion. This is VMWare's Mac product that is currently in beta. The biggest advantage for a user such as me is that this product "understands" Boot Camp. No need for a separate Virtual Machine. VMWare Fusion will let you boot your Boot Camp partition from within Mac OS X! Parallels does this too, and many people have good things to say about their product. I haven't tried it though and it costs $80, whereas the VMWare one is currently free, during beta.

Arjun can try this out right now on his iMac since he already has Boot Camp configured. I'm waiting to get my hands on an Intel Mac sometime this year and install Windows Vista on it!!
